Coconut oil prevents protein loss in hair and prevents damage. Sulphur and salicylic acid facilitate the removal of dandruff from the scalp. Sulphur also possesses antimicrobial activity. Salicylic acid prevents excessive oil build-up. Camphor makes the hair soft and boosts hair growth. It generally does not cause any irritation. Coal tar helps the skin to shed the dead cells and decreases itching. Stop using the oil if any irritation occurs. It is for external use only.
