ANOSUM 20GM CREAM

Same day

Introduction:

Anosum 20gm Cream is a combination medication containing the active constituents sucralfate, metronidazole, and lignocaine. It is used to treat anal fissures. Anal fissures are tears in the anal canal (opening through which stool leaves the body), and they can cause pain and bleed with bowel movements. Before using this cream, inform your physician if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have any diseases, or have allergic conditions. This medication is for external use only. Include fibre rich fruits and vegetables in your diet to make your stools softer and easier to pass.

Uses of Anosum 20gm Cream:

  • Treatment of anal fissures

How Anosum 20gm Cream works:

Metronidazole is an antibiotic that prevents infections by reducing the growth of harmful bacteria in the anal region and increases the healing rate. Lignocaine is an anesthetic that gives pain relief by blocking pain signals from nerves to the brain.

Sucralfate forms a protective layer at wound sites, promotes mucosal healing, and relieves pain and irritation.

Interactions with other drugs:

Inform your doctor about any medications you are taking or have taken before the treatment.
